FUNERAL PLANNING

The rituals and prayers surrounding death are a witness to the faith of the one who has died.

They give comfort to the family and friends of the deceased person, and these rituals affirm and

express solidarity between the living and the dead in the communion of saints.

The funeral liturgy is the central moment in the procession from death to burial.

Parish clergy and/or staff will help you in finalizing the funeral plan.

Please call the St. John Paul II Scioto Catholic Parish Office at (740) 354-4551

to schedule a meeting.  You can be assured of our prayers during this time of grief.

Come Holy Spirit, the Consoler! Mary, Mother of Sorrows, pray for us!
